About the Role
Our client, a well-established and BALI-accredited landscaping and grounds maintenance company based in Berkshire, is currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their growing team. Operating across Reading, Maidenhead, Windsor, and surrounding areas, they deliver high-quality grounds management and soft landscaping services for a diverse range of commercial and residential clients.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes. From routine maintenance to large-scale landscaping projects, no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Grass cutting, strimming, and general weeding
Hedge cutting and soft landscaping work
Turf preparation and laying
Supporting winter gritting operations
General grounds and estate maintenance duties
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in grounds maintenance or soft landscaping
Confident in using grounds maintenance tools and machinery
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
Presentable, polite, and a strong team player
Full UK driving licence with B+E trailer towing - essential
Additional certifications (advantageous but not essential):
PA1 & PA6 Spraying
CS30 & CS31 Chainsaw
