About:
Our client is a leading construction and facilities services company working across civils, commercial, industrial, residential, and education sectors. Their outdoor environments are as important to them as the buildings they construct, and they take pride in maintaining clean, well-kept grounds across all their sites.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces, from lawns and flower beds to walkways and parking areas. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, functionality, and appearance of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mow, edge, and trim lawns using powered and manual equipment
* Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and seasonal care
* Clean and maintain walkways, car parks, and other landscaped areas
* Inspect and carry out minor repairs on fences, benches, and outdoor furniture
* Safely use and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
* Support seasonal projects like mulching, planting, and fertilising
* Identify and report safety issues or hazards across outdoor areas
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
* Confident using a variety of groundskeeping tools and equipment
* Basic horticulture knowledge, including plant care and pest control
* Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
* Strong eye for detail and a pride in delivering high-quality work
* Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
* Full UK driving licence preferred
