Job Description
Our National Clients are currently seeking an experienced Ground Worker to join their skilled team, supporting on various refurbishment and fit-out projects of commercial properties across the UK.
Based within Nottinghamshire, the ideal candidate should be able to easily commute to a central Head Office location locally, and travel in small teams to the required locations.
With a full order book, my clients are seeking candidates who are able to commit and develop their skills with a company who has shown year on year growth. Offering ongoing maintenance and repair support for existing clients, whilst also embarking upon new projects UK wide.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Ground Worker who can carry out the below;
* Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance
* Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
* Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work
* Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations
* Setting up the construction site
* Operating and maintaining tools and machinery.
* Digging trenches and laying concrete
* Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs
* All other duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Be available to work away from home frequently (stop out allowance and reputable hotel accommodation – own room included).
* Full UK Driving License
* Valid CSCS Card.
Any additional tickets would be a bonus.
Hours of Work:
* Flexibility is key. Whereas the majority of work is carried out Monday to Friday – Days, there is the possibility of some out of hours work, nights out and travelling to suit the needs of the business, with all hours and overtime paid. All unsociable works are scheduled and planned well in advance.
Pay:
* Dependent upon experience – highly competitive rates of pay offered – weeklyBefore You Apply
