Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Groundworker to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of groundworks tasks on construction sites. Work is available immediately in the Battle area. Key responsibilities include:
Excavating and digging trenches for foundations and utilities
Laying foundations, kerbs, and drainage systems
Installing and maintaining site infrastructure (e.g., pipes, drains, cables)
Operating plant machinery (if qualified)
Ensuring the site is safe and following health and safety regulations
Assisting with general site labouring tasks as required
Requirements
Previous experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role
CSCS card (required)
Valid Driving License (preferred but not essential)
Ability to operate plant machinery (if applicable)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physically fit and able to handle manual labour tasks
Able to travel to and from site
