Working Hours: 11-Hour Shifts Midweek / 8–9 Hours Weekends / 8 Hours Paid on Travel Days
Rotation: 11 Days On / 3 Days Off
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers to join a project in Shetland. The works will last for approximately two months, following an 11 on / 3 off rotation. This role offers excellent pay rates, travel benefits, and accommodation provided, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates looking for rewarding work in a unique location.
The project involves working on a cable track, carrying out duties such as backfilling, ducting, and associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Completing groundworks duties including backfilling, ducting, and general excavation support
• Operating plant and equipment (if ticketed)
• Following site instructions and working within project timelines
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental standards
• Assisting with other site activities as required
Requirements:
• Valid CSCS Certification (minimum)
• Proven experience as a Groundworker on similar projects
• Plant Operation tickets (advantageous)
• Ability to work in a remote location on rotation
• Good awareness of site safety practices
Package Includes:
• £22.00/hour (Weekdays)
• £27.00/hour (Weekends)
• Flights, accommodation, and on-island travel provided
• Paid travel days (8 hours)
