We're looking for an experienced Groundworker to join a dynamic maintenance team in Bedfordshire. This role is part of a dedicated in-house team delivering responsive and planned maintenance across a portfolio of social housing properties.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out repairs and replacements to damaged fencing and paving on occupied housing estates and communal areas.
Digging post holes, setting fence posts in concrete, and ensuring alignment and stability.
Laying, cutting, and repairing paving slabs, block paving, and pathways.
Preparing groundworks, including excavation, levelling, and compaction for fencing and paving works.
Working safely around tenants, the public, and other trades on occupied housing estates.
Removing and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
Communicating politely and professionally with tenants and supervisors.Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
City & Guilds in General Construction OperationsBenefits:
