Groundworker / Slab Layer – Halesworth
Location: Halesworth
Pay Rate: Up to £22 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: Immediate | Ongoing work available
We are currently seeking a skilled Groundworker with strong slab-laying experience to join a busy site in Halesworth. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with a respected groundworks contractor, working as part of a well-established site team.
🔨 Role & Responsibilities:
*
Preparation of ground for slab laying and paving works
*
Laying slabs, kerbs, edgings, and block paving to high standards
*
Assisting with other aspects of groundworks, including drainage, footings, and concreting where required
*
Working to site plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
*
Maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment
Requirements:
*
Valid CSCS Card (essential)
*
Proven experience in slab laying / paving within groundworks projects
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Own PPE and hand tools
*
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
