Job Description
Job Title: Groundworker
Location: Exeter
Overview:
We are looking for skilled Groundworkers to work across various infrastructure and utility projects, including drainage, highways, riverbank strengthening, and pipeline installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out all aspects of groundworks .
Install drainage systems, headwalls, and pipework.
Support in construction of trash screens, access tracks, and minor structural works.
Operate plant and equipment safely ( dumpers, rollers, etc.).
Ensure adherence to site safety and environmental procedures.
Work as part of a small, skilled team delivering to programme and specification.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Groundworker in civil engineering or utilities.
CSCS card (essential).
CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant operation (desirable).
Street Works (NRSWA) accreditation (advantageous).
Strong understanding of safe excavation and reinstatement practices.
