Groundworkers (with HGV Licence)
Location: Just outside Banchory
Pay Rate: £15–£25 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Start: ASAP
Activus Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Farm & Estate company based just outside Banchory. In addition to agricultural activity, our client delivers a wide range of groundworks services across Domestic, Commercial, and Agricultural construction projects, as well as ongoing maintenance.
They are now looking to add skilled Groundworkers to their team, ideally with an HGV licence, and machine tickets would be highly advantageous.
About the Role
You will be part of a highly experienced workforce tackling a broad range of tasks—from small reactive maintenance jobs to large-scale development projects. Work can range from:
*
General groundworks
*
Drainage and blocked drain solutions
*
Site preparation and foundations
*
Agricultural construction support
*
Landscaping and estate maintenance
*
Assisting with major development projects
*
Operating plant and machinery (if tickets held)
*
Driving HGV vehicles as required
This is a varied role requiring reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
*
Full UK driving licence (essential due to rural location)
*
HGV licence (essential)
*
Machine/plant tickets (desirable but not essential)
*
Previous experience in groundworks or construction
*
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
*
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
