Groundworkers & Digger Drivers – Wanted – Immediate Start!
Devon Based - Accommodation Provided | Rate : DOE
Temporary, Full Time
Are you an experienced Groundworker with Dumper & Roller tickets, or a Digger Driver (CPCS or NPORS) with strong reliability and 5+ years’ experience?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for skilled, dependable operatives to join a professional groundworks team on a long-running project in Devon. These roles require hands-on experience, safe working practices, and the ability to deliver high‑quality work as part of a wider site team. Bonus if you have Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) experience.
What's on Offer:
Mileage paid at 25p per mile
Accommodation provided for the duration of the project
Long-term project work running until November
Supportive site management and clear communication of daily tasks
Opportunity to work with a reputable and professional groundworks contractor
Qualifications
Essential (Groundworker):
Dumper Ticket CPCS or NPORS
Roller Ticket
Minimum 5+ years groundworks experience
Essential (Digger Driver):
360 Excavator CPCS or NPORS Ticket
Minimum 5+ years experience operating excavators
Desirable (Both Roles):
Damp Proof Membrane installation experience
Additional groundworks or civils experience
Roles & Responsibilities
Carry out groundworks, excavation, digging and site preparation tasks as directed
Operate plant safely and competently (Dumper, Roller, Excavator)
Install membranes where required, including DPM (if experienced)
Work safely, taking all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury
Communicate effectively with site management and wider teams
Maintain excellent timekeeping and reliability throughout the project
Follow site instructions, drawings, specifications and RAMS
Keep work areas clean, safe and organised
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel and stay in Devon
Support wider groundworks activities within your skillset
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the site management team
Requirements
All operatives are expected to:
Deliver work accurately, efficiently and to required site standards
Work cooperatively with the wider site team to maintain progress and quality
Maintain a professional approach at all times
Be reliable, punctual and committed for the duration of the project
Health, Safety & Compliance
All employees are required to:
Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice
Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others
Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met
