Job Description
Position: Temporary Groundworks Assessor
Location: Merseyside
Rate: £40 per hour
Hours: Flexible - 1 day per week
Start Date: Ongoing requirement - immediate start
Eden Brown are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Groundworks Assessor on behalf of a further education college in Merseyside.
This is a part time, on-going role to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and support learners working towards Groundworks qualifications (typically NVQ or similar)
* Conduct site visits and portfolio reviews to track learner progress
* Provide constructive feedback and ensure assessment standards are met
* Work closely with tutors and curriculum teams to align assessment with course content
Requirements:
* Industry experience in Groundworks/Civil Engineering
* Recognised Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, D32/D33)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred for site visits)
A DBS will also be needed for this role, if you don't have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
