Job Description
Guildmore is seeking a dynamic and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Groundworks Unit. This new role has been created due to the ongoing success of our department and our commitment to further enhancing performance, accountability, and operational robustness.
At Guildmore, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects across Education, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare sectors, and mixed-use residential developments with project values ranging from £5m to £30m.
Key Responsibilities:
* To procure subcontract and material packages in line with commercial procedures.
* Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.
* Negotiate and manage sub-contract orders, valuations, and payments.
* Produce and manage project CVR’s.
* Measure site works for valuations.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for groundworks packages.
Working Conditions:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (1-hour lunch break).
* Based in Bromley, with travel to project sites as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
* Experience in Groundworks, Drainage, and External Works is desirableBefore You Apply
