Group Accountant Needed (German Speaking) - Munich

We are partnering with an innovative, high-growth engineering and technology business based near Munich to support the hire of a Group Accountant (IFRS). This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating at the cutting edge of advanced manufacturing and data-driven technology.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will play a key part in the group finance function, taking ownership of consolidated reporting and contributing to strategic finance initiatives within a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  * Prepare consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS standards

  * Manage the consolidation of international subsidiaries, including capital, intercompany balances, income and expenses

  * Act as a technical accounting expert, supporting local entities on IFRS-related matters

  * Develop and enhance group accounting policies and documentation

  * Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles

  * Collaborate closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders

  * Contribute to key projects such as M&A activities, process optimisation, and reporting improvements

About You

  * Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

  * Proven experience in group accounting, ideally within a listed or international organisation

  * Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (knowledge of German GAAP/HGB is advantageous)

  * Analytical mindset with a structured and independent working style

  * Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is beneficial
