We’re pleased to be partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed manufacturing group operating across a diverse, multi-industry supply chain. Known for its innovative approach and ambitious growth plans, the business is looking to appoint a Group Accountant to strengthen its finance function and support ongoing strategic expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional to step into a key role within a dynamic, performance-driven environment. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a critical part in group reporting, financial controls, and business insight, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated group management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis against budget and forecast
*
Manage and review reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts to ensure group-wide financial integrity
*
Support the annual budgeting process and assist with reforecasting as required across group entities
*
Coordinate the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and act as a key contact for auditors and external advisors
*
Provide cost and margin analysis to support commercial decision-making across operations and the wider supply chain
*
Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate intercompany reporting across all group entities
*
Support the Group Financial Controller with insurance and risk matters, liaising with external brokers and contributing to risk mitigation strategies
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*
Experience in a group accounting or group reporting role, ideally within a manufacturing or PE-backed environment
*
Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience preparing consolidated and statutory accounts
*
Solid FP&A skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
*
High attention to detail with strong systems and Excel capability
*
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
