We are working with a leading Travel Manager Company based in London who are looking for a Group Business Travel Manager to join their Travel & Events division, due to the successful growth of the business.
This is a varied role, as a Group Business Travel Manager you will be a key account Manager and main point of contact for US Clients, managing global travel logistics for groups of 10 - 1,000+ passengers.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in booking group travel logistics and flexible to work shifts Monday - Friday between 15:00 - 23:30.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist travellers with best-in-class personalised travel
Assisting travellers with any issues before, during, and after travel.
Assisting with basic cancellations, changes, and updates to hotel, flight, car, and/or rail bookings.
Provide accurate and detailed fare information for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings, as needed.
Work closely with client contacts to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.
Create group and individual reservations
Negotiate competitive fares with suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Proven experience in the travel industry
Experience booking and ticketing group travel
GDS experience is essential
Excellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares
Cvent and/or understanding of event registration tools advantageous
Experience working in a high-pressured environment
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent geographical and airline schedule knowledge
The ability to work on multiple events at the same time
PACKAGE:
£39,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
Working shifts Monday - Friday between; 15:00 - 23:30
Fully remote
Annual company bonus (subject to company performance)
25 Days holiday per year plus your birthday off (plus UK BH)
