Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and successful business based in Marlow, where you’ll take ownership of the full finance function across a group of companies and play a key role in supporting future growth.
Salary £55,000 to £75,000 depending on experience. This is a full time office based role.
You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of day to day finance, the production of accurate monthly accounts, all statutory and audit requirements, group reporting and financial control across UK entities. This is a hands on role that would suit someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and taking full ownership.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts for all companies including reconciliations, journals and variance analysis
* Lead on year end accounts preparation including audit liaison
* Maintain and update fixed asset registers
* Produce consolidated accounts for the group
* Oversee treasury and cashflow including weekly and monthly forecasting
* Manage VAT, PAYE and corporation tax submissions including liaising with external tax advisers
* Manage group payroll and pension submissions
* Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the group
* Ensure financial controls, processes and procedures are maintained and developed
* Provide financial insight to the senior leadership team including ad hoc financial analysis when required
* Line management of one finance team member
About you
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or QBE with strong experience at a similar level
* Group accounting experience including consolidations
* Strong technical knowledge including statutory accounts and audit
* Excellent Excel skills
* Hands on approach with the ability to manage both operational and strategic finance
* Confident communicator able to work closely with senior stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail, proactive and organised
* Experience in a multi entity environment is highly desirableBefore You Apply
