Key Responsibilities
Lead group financial processing and reporting, ensuring a disciplined, efficient month-end close and consistently high-quality outputs.
Oversee the preparation of management accounts, board reporting and performance insight that supports commercial and operational decision-making.
Provide clear financial analysis on performance, risks and opportunities, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Own cashflow, liquidity and working capital oversight, driving strong balance sheet discipline across a multi-entity group.
Maintain robust financial controls, reconciliations, policies and governance, supporting statutory and audit requirements.
Provide strategic oversight of finance systems, championing automation, data and process improvement to reduce manual effort and improve insight.
Oversee treasury activity, intercompany balances and banking arrangements, ensuring strong control and visibility.
Support risk management, internal audit activity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to business change, including systems upgrades, process redesign, group restructuring and acquisition activity.
Key Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified with solid post-qualification experience in financial control, reporting or group finance roles.
Strong technical accounting foundation, ideally gained in complex or multi-entity environments.
Proven experience leading teams and improving finance processes and controls.
Hands-on, proactive mindset - comfortable balancing operational delivery with strategic thinking.
Strong communicator, able to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
High attention to detail, commercial awareness and a genuine appetite to improve how finance operates.
