Location: Slough HQ (Elizabeth Line - Hybrid, onsite 4-5 days/week in July)
Rate: £550-£650/day PAYE via agency (flexible for the right person)
Duration: June-July 2025

We're working with a FTSE-level global business urgently hiring a hands-on finance contractor to support their external reporting team through a high-pressure statutory reporting cycle.
This short-term role is all about impact. You'll slot into a lean, capable team to prepare consolidation journals, group schedules, and statutory reporting for the half-year announcement. You'll also liaise with auditors (KPMG) and ensure timely delivery under tight deadlines.
What they're looking for:
ACA or ACCA qualified - open to a broad PQE range (from 2 years up to 20), as long as you're still close to the detail
Experience preparing (not just auditing or reviewing) consolidation journals and group-level reports
Currently working in, or very recently responsible for, technical reporting in a group finance or external reporting environment
Experience in a listed company environment - public company reporting cycles, audit deadlines, and stakeholder pressure
Comfortable with large spreadsheets and ideally tools like Hyperion
Able to commit to 4-5 days on-site in July during peak pressure
Calm under pressure, positive, and proactive - able to work independently but not afraid to ask questions
