A rapidly growing engineering business based near Horsham are looking for a proactive Group Health and Safety Advisor to support their operational teams and maintain high safety standards across the business.
This is a hands-on, varied role with a mix of site visits, audits, risk assessments, and advisory work.
The position is based on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the management and delivery of our H&S systems.
* Conduct internal audits and site inspections.
* Compile H&S reports, stats, and newsletters.
* Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
* Complete risk assessments and method statements.
* Deliver toolbox talks and in-house H&S training.
* Provide practical, on-site H&S advice and support.
* Stay up to date with legislation and industry standards.
What You’ll Need
NEBOSH NGC (minimum), ideally working towards a Diploma.
Practical health & safety experience in manufacturing and/or construction.
CSCS Card and full UK driving licence.
Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
IT literate and detail focused
