Group Health and Safety Manager
Multi-site UK based travel required
£45,000 + company car, mobile phone and laptop
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Are you a seasoned Health and Safety professional looking for your next challenge within a multi-site environment?
Our client operating across several UK locations is seeking a Group Health and Safety Manager to take ownership of their health and safety function. This is a key role that will see you travelling across various sites, engaging with teams and embedding best practice throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting regular site visits to ensure compliance and drive safety culture.
Keeping training records current and ensuring all staff receive appropriate safety instruction.
Leading risk assessments and safety audits across all operational sites.
Reviewing and updating company health and safety policies in line with legislation.
Supporting site managers and teams to improve safety performance and awareness.
Taking full ownership of the H&S agenda while building strong relationships at all levels.
Influencing behavioural change and winning hearts and minds to embed a proactive safety culture.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a group-level Health and Safety Manager role, ideally within a multi-site setting.
A recognised Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (someone who can engage, influence and lead but not bore)
A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.Why Apply?
