About the Role
A national services organisation is seeking to appoint a Group M&E Surveyor to oversee the condition, performance, and development of its portfolio’s M&E installations. This is a pivotal estates role, responsible for capital works, refurbishments, and compliance, while also supporting operational teams to maintain safe, efficient, and commercially effective environments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update M&E condition surveys, building capital investment plans to ensure long-term compliance and asset performance.
Oversee compliance with statutory requirements, including fire safety, water risk, building regulations, planning, and landlord obligations.
Deliver a broad range of M&E projects, from small works to major refurbishments, ensuring cost, time, and regulatory standards are met.
Collaborate with building surveyors, property teams, and operations to provide M&E input into wider estates projects.
Supervise minor works and property managers, ensuring consistent standards and value for money.
Provide strategic insight into investment priorities, supporting efficiency improvements and operational savings.About You
Qualified M&E surveyor, ideally with a background in project delivery.
Experience working in complex, multi-site environments (regulated sectors such as healthcare, education, or housing preferred).
Strong knowledge of compliance and statutory requirements, alongside financial planning and cost control skills.
Proven ability to deliver projects from origination through to completion, including contractor and professional team management.
Flexible and pragmatic, with the ability to travel extensively across the UK;
