Group Production Planner — to lead planning across both This is a fantastic opportunity to bring clarity, coordination, and efficiency to our brew and packaging schedules.
As Group Production Planner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the right stock is brewed and packaged at the right time, in the right place — keeping operations smooth and customer demand fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities

Build and manage,balancing capacity, demand, and inventory targets.
*
Maintain a 12-week rolling production plan with a confirmed 2-week schedule, including long-term capacity visibility.
*
Work closely with Brewers, Packaging, Materials, and Transport teams to align resources and minimise delays.
*
Monitor tank and line usage, aiming to reduce downtime, WIP, and stock-outs.
*
Coordinate timely packaging and dispatch in collaboration with logistics teams.
*
Escalate material or packaging shortages early and proactively resolve conflicts.
*
Maintain and regularly update the Production Planning SOP; ensure cover is in place for planned or unplanned absence.
*
Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, efficiency, and output reliability.

Candidate Profile
Essential:
*
Experience in production or manufacturing planning, ideally within FMCG, brewing, or food & beverage
*
Strong understanding of capacity, materials flow, and scheduling
*
Comfortable with ERP or planning systems (Brewman experience a plus)
*
Effective communicator across cross-functional teams
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Desirable:
*
Qualifications in production planning or supply chain (e.g. APICS, CILT)
*
Experience across multi-site operations
*
Knowledge of inventory and WIP best practices
