What You'll Be Doing
No two days will be the same - but here's the core of the role:
You'll work closely with the Grower Manager on all aspects of crop production, from transplanting to dispatch.
You'll oversee growing tasks like irrigation, pest and disease management, crop protection and quality control.
You'll ensure the growing team are working safely and efficiently, delivering crops to agreed specs and timelines.
You'll also be involved in managing environmental controls and maintaining accurate growing records.What You'll Need
Experience in a commercial nursery environment - ideally in ornamental plants.
Your PA1 and PA6 are great, but training can be provided for the right person.
A good understanding of crop production methods - irrigation, transplanting, spacing, pest control.
Confidence with computers - most systems here are automated or digitally managed.What's On Offer
