South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a commercially focused, results driven Growth Delivery Manager to join us in a role in which you will drive strategic growth and deliver transformative development across our districts.
Sitting within our Place Directorate, you will Lead the team focused on key housing, employment and community infrastructure projects across our districts. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our communities through high-impact capital projects and strategic partnerships.
You'll act as the Council's client on major development schemes, providing strategic direction and ensuring delivery aligns with our growth ambitions and local priorities.
You identify and develop business cases for investment opportunities, particularly those aligned with the Greater Norwich Local Plan, securing external funding and maximizing planning obligations (CIL/S106). Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with developers, landowners, public sector partners and local communities.
About You
You'll bring a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in economic development, property development, or a related field. RICS qualification (or eligibility) is desirable. You'll have a proven track record in delivering land, construction, or infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and experience acting as a client in capital delivery.
You'll be a confident leader and communicator, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex partnerships and funding arrangements.
