Looking to take your engineering skills into aviation?
We're working with a leading provider of airport ground support services and are seeking skilled Engineers to join their expanding team at London Gatwick.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in heavy or light vehicles to the fast-paced world of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), helping to keep one of the UK's busiest airports operating smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of GSE vehicles and equipment
Delivering planned and preventative maintenance (mechanical and electrical)
Completing all service paperwork accurately and on time
Ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance on every job
Collaborating with colleagues as part of a dedicated engineering team
What we're looking for:
Heavy vehicle experience preferred (strong light vehicle experience also considered)
HGV Class 1 licence (preferred)
City & Guilds in motor mechanics engineering or equivalent
5 years' checkable work history (essential for airside clearance)
Ability to pass CRC and GSAT security checks
Strong communication skills, flexible approach, and a commitment to quality and safety
What's on offer:
Shifts: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
Competitive base salary of £47,047.50 + allowances + annual bonus
