Hair and Beauty Instructor - Alternative Provision
Location: Preston
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Start Date: 1st September
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Part-time (2 days/week), ongoing
Pay: £100 - £150 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive Alternative Provision to recruit a passionate and skilled Hair and Beauty Instructor. This exciting part-time role is to begin on Monday 1st September.
About the Role:
You will be working with young people who may face barriers to mainstream education, delivering engaging and hands-on hair and beauty sessions that help develop both practical skills and confidence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, offering students a creative outlet and a potential future career path.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience teaching or delivering Hair and Beauty sessions (in schools, colleges, or salons)
Be confident working with students who have additional needs or challenging behaviour
Hold relevant qualifications in Hair and Beauty
Be enthusiastic, patient, and resilient
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update serviceWhat we offer:
