📍 Location: Leeds
💰 Pay: £14.72 per hour + 10% Shift Allowance
🕑 Shift Pattern: 14:00 PM – 22:00 PM (Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday)
About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-focused Hand Polisher to join our manufacturing team in Leeds. This role is crucial in ensuring the high-quality precision-engineered components with a grained or mirror finish. You'll be working as part of a skilled team, using hand tools and machinery to polish metal parts to exacting standards.
What You'll Be Doing
* Polishing and finishing metal components by hand
* Working with materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and other alloys
* Inspecting surfaces for imperfections and achieving a consistent high-quality finish
* Following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Reporting any quality issues or defects to your team leader
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a hand polishing, metal finishing, or similar role (essential)
* A strong eye for detail and high-quality standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health & safety in a workshop or manufacturing environment
* Reliability, good timekeeping, and a positive attitude
What You’ll Get
* Hourly Rate: £14.72 + 10% shift allowance
* Consistent afternoon shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday
