Job Overview
We are seeking experienced handballer operatives to support daily container unloading for a busy logistics operation. This role is physically demanding and requires careful, accurate handling of goods.
The client prioritises quality over speed, so candidates must work methodically and ensure all items are sorted correctly.
Key Responsibilities
Unloading 20 ft and 40 ft containers manually
Handling goods weighing up to 30 kg
Carefully sorting mixed goods for a large furniture distributor
Managing a high volume of split items and maintaining correct order allocation
Using PPTs (Powered Pallet Trucks) and shrink wrap equipment
Maintaining safe, tidy, and organised working practices
Workload Expectations
Approximately 2 containers per day (quality-focused)
Requirements
Previous handball or warehouse unloading experience
Physically fit and capable of continuous lifting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistent quality
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
Additional Information
A brief on-site meeting/induction may be required before starting.
Ongoing daily work available for suitable candidates.
