Job Title: General Handyman (with B1 Counterbalance Licence)
Location: Near Burton
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a practical and reliable General Handyman to support day-to-day site maintenance and improvement tasks during a period of expansion. This hands-on role will involve a mix of basic repairs, general upkeep, and assisting with site operations - including moving materials and supplies using a forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out basic repairs, maintenance, and general site upkeep.
Support small building or fixing tasks as required across the premises.
Operate a forklift truck (B1 licence required) to move materials and equipment.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Assist with manual tasks to support production and facilities teams.
Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving minor maintenance issues.
Person Specification:
Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, or general labouring role preferred.
Valid B1 counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
Practical, adaptable, and confident with basic tools and repairs.
Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
