Job Description
Our client has a group of companies. They are currently recruiting for a handyman to work with their existing handyman and assist him with a number of tasks at either of the 5 sites. The sites are based around Sutton Coldfield and Bassetts Pole.
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining and improving our buildings and grounds, with hands-on experience across a variety of maintenance tasks. This role suits someone proactive, practical, and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance and repair work across our properties
* Perform groundworks/labouring
* Undertake basic Bricklaying/Grounds work
* Maintain gardens and outdoor areas, including landscaping duties
* Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs (e.g. fixing leaks, replacing sockets)
* Assist with seasonal and preventative maintenance tasks
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency issues
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations
* Maintain tools, equipment, and an organised inventory of supplies
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role
* Strong general repair and DIY skills
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
* Awareness of health and safety standards
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to high standardsBefore You Apply
