Job Description
Vibe Recruit is looking for a handyperson to carry out repairs in our client serviced apartments in Newport.
We are looking for someone with a broad range of craftsmanship and practical skills to carry out repairs or general properties maintenance. The work can range from simple building maintenance to plumbing, painting, and gardening.
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Hourly Rate: £15ph
Duties:
Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc.
Minor plumbing and carpentry
Clearing or cleaning general areas
Shifting furniture or equipment
Assembling furniture or equipment
Garden/outdoor maintenance
Painting and decorating
Clearing gutters
Maintaining property exterior throughout the seasonsSkills:
Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance workers
Being resourceful and self-motivated
Physically fit - capable of working with machinery or moving heavy equipment
Able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently
