Job Description
Job Title: Handyman / Multi-Skilled Operative
Location: Exeter
Overview:
We are looking for a Handyman / Multi-Skilled Operative to undertake a wide range of maintenance and minor civil works as part of projects for Devon County Council, Environment Agency, and South West Water.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general repair and maintenance works including fencing, concreting, basic joinery, and minor brick/block work.
Support the installation of trash screens, drainage headwalls, and small structural elements.
Assist with setting out and preparing work areas for operatives and subcontractors.
Ensure all tools and materials are safely and efficiently used.
Maintain high standards of site tidiness and safety.
Carry out basic formwork, finishing, and reinstatement tasks as needed.Requirements:
Proven experience in multi-skilled site or maintenance work.
Competent in using hand and power tools.
CSCS card (essential).
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
