Process Worker / Handyman - Modular Units (Exciting long term opportunity)
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Job Type: Temp to Permanent (excellent benefits and excellent pay rate)
Role Purpose
To work as part of the production team in the assembly, finishing, and preparation of high-quality modular units. The role involves following set processes to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks on modular units in line with production plans.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
Assist with installation of flooring, wall panels, fixtures, fittings, and internal/external finishes.
Perform basic joinery, fitting, or mechanical tasks where required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Support colleagues and work collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are used and stored correctly.Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a production, construction, or modular build environment.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to follow technical instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Good awareness of Health & Safety practices.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different stages of the build process.
Reliable team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Desirable Qualifications
Drivers License (Full UK)
CSCS preferred
