We’re looking for an, experienced Handyperson to take on a varied, hands-on role, covering general maintenance, minor repairs, and wider site support within our mobile team.

The main duties of this role are to:
* Undertake basic response building fabric works, including minor repairs and maintenance across multiple disciplines.
* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks including carpentry, joinery, basic plumbing, patch repairs, fixture and fitting replacements, and general building duties.
* Carry out door and lock repairs and replacements.
* Replace windows, glass, and other furniture items.
* Perform small roofing and flooring repairs.
* Undertake basic plumbing tasks such as tap replacements, clearing blockages, and minor pipe repairs.
* Support the wider team with both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
* Offer simple cost/material estimates for supervisor review (e.g. replace door frame, replace bathroom tap).
* Represent the company professionally when liaising with subcontractors or clients.
* Undertake lock-off and make safe duties to secure areas following damage or faults, ensuring the site is safe for occupants and complies with health and safety standards.
* Ensure the efficient and accurate use of a digital tablet to carry out daily tasks, including logging job details, accessing work instructions, and submitting completed reports.
* Be available as part of the on-call rota and respond to out of hours call-outs as required.
Skill and Abilities needed:
Essential
* Full UK driving licence.
* Proven general maintenance or handyman experience (basic carpentry, joinery, plumbing).
* Willingness to undertake lock-off training and certification to carry out lock-off and make safe duties safely and effectively.
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge with practical experience of working in compliance with RAMS, PPE requirements, site inductions, and hazard/near-miss reporting.
Desirable:
* Qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical or Construction Skills/Property Maintenance Operations.
* Basic lock-off training and certification .
* CPCS or NPORS Plant Machinery Ticket (e.g. digger/excavator).
* IPAF (3a/3b)
