Site based Handyperson (Temporary to Permanent) - Stafford - Global Facilities Management Organisation: FMCG & Manufacturing
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and multi-skilled Fabric Engineer/Handyperson to join our FM client’s team on a temporary to permanent basis, working on a prestigious manufacturing site in Stafford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in general building maintenance and fabric works who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing FM contract.
Package:
Competitive hourly rate of £16.00 per hour
Opportunity to go permanent with additional benefits (pension, holiday, training etc.)
Stable, single-site role with no travel required
Supportive working environment with room to grow
Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance duties across the site
General building repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting & decorating
Maintaining external areas such as pathways, signage, and fencing
Supporting wider site FM operations and liaising with subcontractors when necessary
Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Handyperson or Fabric Engineer role
Strong all-round knowledge of general building maintenance
Basic mechanical or plumbing knowledge desirable
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
