Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with Local Government experience who is proactive and capable of working independently. Responsibilities include: Leading the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and related services. Collaborating with Heads of Services to support budget forecasting and monitoring. Designing complex costing models to enhance service efficiencies. Monitoring data against the Council's revenue and capital budgets. Demonstrating strong leadership skills with a proven record in a housing finance role within local government. Completing statutory HRA returns. Contributing to the formulation of a comprehensive 30-year financial business plan.This role will initially be for 6 months and will be offered on a hybrid basis.
