Hatchery Operative
Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday to Thursday from 05:45am – 2:30pm and Friday from 5:45am – 12:00pm.

We are looking for a proactive and dependable individual to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our hatchery operations. This role involves supporting various hatchery tasks and working closely with the team to maintain high standards of productivity and care. Job Duties:
* Support all hatchery operations from egg production to delivery of day-old ducks.
* Maintain a clean, hygienic, and biosecure working environment.
* Accurately complete and update all records related to your tasks.
* Monitor health and safety equipment, reporting any issues to the manager.
* Communicate regularly with the Line Manager and site staff to ensure smooth information flow.
* Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Company Handbook.
* Ensure the health and welfare of ducks and eggs under your care.
* Perform any additional poultry farming tasks as reasonably assigned by the company.
What we are looking for:
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and biosecurity standards.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable with good communication skills and willingness to follow company policies.
