HVAC Day Engineer (Data Centre)

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (GU14)
Salary: Up to £46,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-17:00 (No Call-Out)
Type: Permanent

We're recruiting for an HVAC Day Engineer to join a leading data centre site in Farnborough. This is a great opportunity for a refrigeration or air conditioning engineer looking for a stable, site-based role with no call-out and a strong work-life balance.

You'll be working within a critical environment, responsible for maintaining key cooling systems that support 24/7 operations.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems
Work on split AC units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and AHUs
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Maintain F-Gas logs and refrigeration records
Monitor plant performance and ensure uptime
Support compliance with H&S and site procedures (EOPs)
Supervise subcontractors and assist with site operations

✅ Requirements

F-Gas qualification (essential)
Strong HVAC / refrigeration maintenance experience
Experience with chillers, AHUs, VRV/VRF systems
Background in a critical environment (data centres, hospitals, etc.)
Basic BMS knowledge
Comfortable working independently on site

💰 Package

Salary up to £46,000
Overtime available
25 days holiday + bank holidays
No call-out rota
Ongoing training and development
