Are you an experienced Head Chef looking for your next challenge or a Senior Sous Chef looking for your next career move?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established hospitality venue seeking a talented Head Chef to lead its busy kitchen operation. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied food offering spanning a café, bar, weddings, private functions, and events.
With a modern production kitchen and a growing events calendar, this role offers plenty of scope for creativity, leadership, and career development.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Leading all kitchen operations and ensuring consistently high food standards.
* Designing and developing menus across café, bar, and event offerings.
* Managing food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen performance.
* Overseeing weddings and events catering for up to 120 guests, with larger functions hosted in marquee facilities.
* Recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff.
* Managing stock, ordering, GP targets, and food costs.
* Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and compliance standards.
* Working closely with the management team to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking for their next step into a Head Chef position.
* Strong menu development and costing experience.
* Experience managing busy kitchen teams.
* Background in hospitality, events, weddings, or multi-outlet operations.
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
* Passion for delivering quality food and exceptional service.
