Head Chef | Foyles of Glasbury | £50,000 + Benefits

Foyles of Glasbury is an independently owned restaurant and boutique hotel in the heart of the village. Lovingly restored from its former life as the Maesllwch Arms, it now features ten individually designed guest rooms and has become a destination for seasonal dining, weekend getaways and special occasions.
We’re looking for a Head Chef to take the reins, someone confident managing a brigade, shaping menus and delivering quality across every service. This is a hands-on role for a chef who wants to lead by example, inspire their team and push standards forward.

What to expect
Foyles is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a full-time, hands-on position that includes evenings, weekends and some bank holidays. As with many senior kitchen roles, weekly hours will typically exceed 48. We’re also closed on Christmas Day so you can spend it with loved ones.
What we’re looking for
• Experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous ready to step up
• Confident team leadership and a calm approach on service
• Strong understanding of food margins, prep, rota planning and hygiene
• Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking and a love of great hospitality
