Are you passionate about gymnastics, child development, and leading a fun, energetic team? Balance & Beam is looking for an inspiring Head Coach & Programme Director & to lead their exciting children’s gymnastics programmes for ages 4 months to 12 years.
Job Description:
* Plan, deliver, and review engaging gymnastics and child development sessions.
* Lead by example, coaching children, supporting parents, and mentoring your coaching team.
* Develop and manage lesson plans using the RISE coaching portal.
* Ensure sessions are fun, safe, and tailored to each age group.
* Manage, train, and inspire your team of senior, assistant, and junior coaches.
* Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding across all programmes.
* Communicate clearly with parents and staff, keeping progress records up to date.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in children’s gymnastics coaching and programme design.
* Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education (or equivalent).
* Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2)
* Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
* Enhanced DBS check required. (or willingness to obtain)
