THE ROLE OF HEAD HOUSEKEEPER
Are you an experienced and passionate Head Housekeeper who can lead a housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. You’ll be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring a seamless guest experience that reflects the high standards of this luxury hotel.
Key Responsibilities of the Head Housekeeper:
* Lead, motivate, and train the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
* Manage daily operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain the hotel’s impeccable standards.
* Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure room readiness and quality.
* Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgeting for cleaning supplies and linens.
* Implement and uphold health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
* Recruit, schedule, and develop housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and efficient team culture.
* Oversee laundry and linen service operations.
As Head Housekeeper you will need to have:
* Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role, ideally within a luxury or boutique hotel.
* A natural leader with strong communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent eye for detail and commitment to maintaining five-star standards.
* Ability to multi task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Passionate about guest satisfaction and proud of your team’s achievements
