Job Description
Our client, a globally recognised organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Head of Airworthiness for a permanent position based in the UAE. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the initial setup, implementation, and continuous management of an EASA & CAR Part 21 approved Design Office, supporting the expansion of our client's operational capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiating and managing EASA & GCAA applications and implementation plans
Recruiting and training staff for the design organisation and creating sample certification projects
Supporting Design Organisation Approval operations by performing checking/approval functions
Overseeing and advising in all areas of the design organisation
Implementing monitoring and fault response systems
Ensuring approved design manuals meet respective requirements and are provided to the appropriate agency
Supporting the Design Organisation in aspects of airworthiness and certification
Job Requirements:
Experience with EASA & GCAA Part 21 regulations
Strong leadership and management skills
Expertise in recruitment and training of design organisation staff
Ability to manage complex projects and meet regulatory standards
Excellent communication and liaison skills
Relevant aerospace engineering or airworthiness qualification
