The Role
As Head of Apprenticeships and Funding, you’ll lead the development and operational delivery of apprenticeship programmes from enrolment through to EPA. Reporting directly to the Board, you’ll also be the key contact and Ofsted Nominee—driving compliance, audits, and quality across the business.
Your core responsibilities will include:

Leading RoATP and Skills Bootcamp applications
*
Ensuring EIF standards and ESFA funding rules are fully met
*
Building and managing a new department with robust systems and people practices
*
Overseeing ILR submissions and audit preparation (ESFA, Ofsted, awarding bodies)
*
Driving continuous quality improvement and safeguarding standards
*
Building partnerships with EPAOs, funding bodies, and employers
*
Working with curriculum and centre leads to develop innovative new programmes
Ideal Candidate
You're a confident and capable apprenticeship leader, excited by the opportunity to build and shape a new division. You're equally comfortable in the detail of funding compliance and the big picture of stakeholder engagement.
You’ll bring:

Deep understanding of ESFA, DfE, and Ofsted EIF frameworks
*
Proven success in RoATP and funding bid submissions
*
Experience leading Ofsted inspections as Nominee
*
Strong interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
*
A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
*
A track record of building or leading apprenticeships teams in private sector settings
