Your Creative Leadership Role
As Head of Art, you will:

Lead the strategic development and day-to-day management of the Art Department, ensuring an inspiring and challenging curriculum from KS3 to KS5.

Design and deliver captivating Art lessons across all key stages, with a strong focus on Key Stage 5.
*
Champion creative expression, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of art and design principles.

Mentor departmental staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Organise and promote a rich programme of extracurricular art activities, workshops, and exhibitions that showcase student talent and engage the wider school community.

Oversee student assessment and progress tracking, providing insightful feedback.

Contribute to the school's vibrant pastoral life as a form tutor.
Who We're Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Fine Art, Graphics, Textiles, Photography, or a related Art & Design discipline.
*
Proven success teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
*
Essential experience teaching Art effectively at Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a strong portfolio of student work.

A visionary leader with a passion for cultivating creativity and a commitment to nurturing artistic talent.

Exceptional subject knowledge and practical skills across a broad range of artistic media.

A dynamic, innovative, and adaptable teaching and leadership style.
