Head of Commercial – High-Growth Nutraceuticals Manufacturer
Devon (Hybrid) | Full-time | Competitive salary + bonus + benefits
Are you ready to lead the commercial engine of a fast-growing manufacturer in the booming health and wellness space?
This is a rare opportunity to join a trusted, BRC-accredited UK business at a pivotal stage of expansion — both in the UK and internationally. As Head of Commercial, you’ll take full ownership of the commercial strategy, lead a focused team of four, and report directly to the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership team.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and lead commercial strategy across the UK, Europe, and North America — driving growth and building long-term client partnerships.
Manage and mentor a team of four across sales, account management, and business development.
Grow B2B revenue streams across sports nutrition, food & drink, own-label and co-pack customers.
Lead on strategic partnerships, pricing, contracts, and channel expansion.
Work cross-functionally with supply chain, NPD, and operations to align commercial goals with delivery capability.
Report directly into the MD, contributing to broader business strategy and direction.
What you bring:
Proven experience in B2B sales or commercial leadership, ideally in FMCG, supplements, nutraceuticals, or manufacturing.
Confident leader of small teams — you’re hands-on, results-focused, and inspire trust.
Strong commercial acumen: from negotiation and deal-making to pricing and margin optimisation.
Comfortable managing a commercial P&L and presenting performance at board level.
Entrepreneurial mindset — you spot opportunities, take initiative, and deliver results.
