Senior Contracts Manager / Head of Construction – New Regional Team
Join a new and fast-growing region within a well-established developer, with the first site going live in June and a pipeline of 100 units forecast for next year. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead from the front, shape the construction culture from the ground up, and directly influence the success of this expansion.
The Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Contracts Manager / Head of Construction to oversee multiple timber frame residential developments across Coventry, Wolverhampton, Maisemore, and Daventry. You will manage all aspects of site delivery from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with the Regional MD and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day construction operations across multiple sites.
* Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery of homes.
* Manage and mentor site managers and construction teams.
* Coordinate with commercial, technical, and sales departments.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations.
* Report progress and risks to the Regional Managing Director.
About You:
* Proven experience at Senior Site Manager, Contracts Manager, or Head of Construction level.
* Strong background in timber frame construction is essential.
* Able to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
* Inspirational leadership style with a hands-on approach.
* Driven, commercially aware, and excited by the opportunity to shape and grow a region.
