Head of Delegate Sales Type: Full-time, senior leadership role About The Company Renowned for delivering high-impact B2B tech, data, and cybersecurity events for senior decision makers and enterprise leaders. Their events provide platforms for deep insight, meaningful networking, and connections that drive business growth. The Role I am seeking a Head of Delegate Sales to lead all delegate acquisition efforts across the client's portfolio of events. You'll own revenue targets, build and inspire a high-performing sales team, and collaborate with marketing, event production, and senior leadership to ensure every event hits its delegate attendance, profile, and revenue goals. Responsibilities Include: Develop and execute a delegate sales strategy to hit/exceed targets for volume, revenue, and delegate mix. Lead, mentor, and grow the Delegate Sales team; set goals, track performance, and ensure training & development. Manage the delegate sales pipeline: forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking. Use data and insights to inform targeting, outreach, and lead qualification. Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and content to drive sales. Partner with Event Producers & Operations to ensure a seamless delegate experience. Build and maintain relationships with delegates, partners, and sponsors. Optimize pricing, promotions, and discounts to maximize revenue without compromising delegate quality. Maintain a high standard of delegate vetting to protect the senior decision-maker profile of our events. Ideal Candidate: Proven track record in B2B delegate or ticket sales, ideally in tech/cybersecurity Experience managing and developing a team with strong leadership and performance management skills. Strong commercial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and meeting revenue targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Data-driven, with the ability to leverage CRM and analytics to optimize the sales process. Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
