Head of Faculty – Mathematics
Location: Bexley
Salary: Leadership Scale - TLR
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and ambitious Head of Faculty for Mathematics to lead our dedicated team across Key Stages 3, 4, and Post-16.
As Head of Faculty, you will play a pivotal role in driving student achievement and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning across the department. You will be responsible for shaping a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum, supporting your team to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and develop the Mathematics faculty to secure outstanding outcomes for all students
*
Oversee curriculum planning and implementation across KS3, KS4 and Sixth Form
*
Monitor and drive student progress and attainment, identifying and addressing areas for improvement
*
Promote a culture of high expectations, collaboration, and continuous improvement
*
Effectively manage and deploy resources within the faculty to maximise impact
*
Provide support and professional development for staff within the department
The ideal candidate will:

Be an experienced and effective teacher of Mathematics with a strong track record of raising attainment

Have proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate others

Be committed to inclusive education and passionate about supporting students of all abilities
