As Head of Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the business's continued success - overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Working closely with the Finance Director, Managing Director, and senior leadership team, you'll confidently present financial data and strategy at board level, helping steer key decisions and long-term plans.
With a strong pipeline of international projects and significant revenue growth projected by 2030, this role is critical to shaping the company's financial future. You'll lead and develop a high-performing finance team, implement robust systems, and ensure full compliance with financial and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts, group reporting, and board-level analysis.
Lead the annual budget process, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic goals.
Manage cash flow and present 12-week rolling forecasts to the Senior Leadership Team.
Oversee statutory accounts, liaise with auditors, and manage audit and internal compliance.
Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, controls, and reporting.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure capability aligns with business needs.
Support the Finance Director with external financing, group facilities, and advise on the financial impact of contracts and projects.
What You'll Need
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Proven senior finance experience with a track record of leading teams and shaping financial strategy.
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS, tax compliance, and audit.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence influencing at all levels.
Project accounting and offshore industry experience (desirable).
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
